Paw Patrol Live – Chicago Theatre
Paw patrol live is pawesome fun for kids and kids at heart! The show is geared towards toddlers and preschool children, it’s sponsored by state farm. When you walk in the usher handed out complementary pompoms with the sponsors logo. The show starts with the theme song from the paw patrol show and the we are greeted by our favorite friends. Ryder came out with his six pup friends we all know and love, Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Zuma, Skye and Rubble. The crowed cheered and sang along. The story line is a race between the characters of the two towns Adventure Bay and Foggy Bottom. Of course Mayor Goodway and Mayor Humdinger both make an appearance and like usual, chickaletta needs to be rescued. The performance included songs from the show and new original music. The race includes different check points where each pup gets a chance to use their special abilities.
There’s an underwater adventure featuring Zuma’s underwater ability. They use marshalls fire track ladder and there’s even a surprise pup guest in the snowy mountains **hint, hint**. During the performance Mayor Goodway and a couple chicken cheerleaders invite the audience to dance and cheer along and wave the pompoms. Mayor Humdinger races along trying to foil the pups plan of winning the race then while cheating ends up needing rescuing himself by none other than the paw patrol. The show ended with a pup-tastic victory celebration for team adventure bay with confetti fireworks and the ending theme song to dance to once again.
We were also invited to the VIP experience (very important pups). Downstairs in the chase lounge all of the kids received a complementary drawstring bag and snacks. There was a reading corner with paw patrol books and another corner with pup toys to play with. There was photo booth and a photo opportunity to meet Chase, Skye and Ruder himself.
Highly recommended
